An engagement session with dogs, kayaks, some suitcases, and an AMAZING couple? One happy photographer over here, especially since they are getting married in Jamaica next year! Laura Beth and Elliot are so perfect together, and I absolutely love how they included things they love in their engagement session. Here are a few favorites from their session!

A few tips for brides:

  • Want to include your pets? GO FOR IT! Dogs are people too 😉 Have them on leashes, and bring a friend to take care of the dogs after the photos with them are taken. This makes it much less stressful than trying to finish the session and take care of the dogs.
  • Incorporate hobbies that the two of you enjoy doing together! Elliot and Laura Beth love to kayak, so we planned some of the photos around that.
  • Props are great to add in, especially if you’ll be using those photos for save the dates or invitations. Since Laura Beth and Elliot are getting married in Jamaica for a destination wedding, the suitcases added a cute travel touch!
