When to do Engagement Photos
When to do engagement photos – Your engagement photos are priceless for many reasons, and many couples prefer these to their wedding portraits later on because they look more “like them” and not all dressed up. Useful for save the dates, wedding invitations, wedding announcements, and even for bragging on social media, engagement photos are something you don’t want to miss! Here are a few tips on when to do them:
- Planning to do a “save the date”? We recommend scheduling them 1 year to 7 months before your wedding date, so you have time to get the photos back from the photographer, design the save the date, and send them out.
- Season- do you love the fall colors and clothing style, or are you more of a fresh spring styled couple? It’s personal preference here, but as long as time allows, choose the season that best fits your personalities.
- What type of bride are you? Some brides tend to want to check everything off the list as fast as possible to reduce wedding planning stress. Others prefer last minute. Wedding planning can be stressful, so don’t wait until the last minute to schedule a date with your photographer. Chances are, when the weather is good, their schedule fills up quickly in the fall and spring.
Nashville Engagement Photography sessionW – Maddie is definitely one of my favorite people on the planet..she’s my little sister from undergrad, and I couldn’t have been more excited to take her engagement pictures! She’s assisted this past summer during engagement sessions and weddings of some of the hottest days of the year, so may look familiar to some of my past brides 🙂 …Cant wait to be in your wedding in April!
